If anything is unclear, whether it’s a medical term or instructions, please ask us to explain. We want you to leave feeling confident and informed about your care.
Set Realistic Expectations
If you’ve had pain for a while, it might take more than one visit to find complete relief. Many treatments need a few days to take effect, and some conditions may require multiple approaches depending on your body’s response.
Bring a Second Set of Ears
It’s tough to remember everything discussed during an appointment. Consider bringing a family member or friend with you to help recall important information. If you’re coming alone, taking notes can also be very helpful.
Don't Wait to Call
If your symptoms are worsening, call us to schedule an appointment right away. Most doctors are booked a few days in advance. You can always cancel if your symptoms improve before your appointment.
Dress Comfortably
For your foot and ankle exam, you’ll need to remove your shoes and socks. Wear comfortable clothing that makes this easy, and please ensure your feet are clean. This helps us spot any skin conditions that might otherwise be hidden.
